About
The table hasn’t changed in decades.
Every game has the same setup. A folding table. A volunteer scorekeeper. A whiteboard or a decades-old electronic console. Someone manually pressing buttons—if they’re paying attention.
The referee already calls the game. They announce points. They call fouls. They signal substitutions. Every piece of information already passes through them.
So why is there a separate person at a separate table entering the same information a second time?
That’s the question that started Tableless.
We’re building the tool that should have existed years ago—a voice-first scoring system that lets the person calling the game control the game. No middleman. No delay. No table.

Basketball has always been more than a game—it’s a classroom, a community, and a place where clarity and trust matter.
After years of coaching, organizing, and directing youth basketball programs—including the Newton Athletic Association’s seasonal clinics—the same problem kept showing up: the scorer’s table. Volunteers missing calls. Refs relaying scores that never made it to the board. A system that asks too much of everyone involved.
Tableless came from that experience. The mission is straightforward: remove the friction so everyone—players, coaches, refs—can stay fully present on the court.
No new hardware. No distractions. No extra people at the table. Just a better way to run the game.
